AL

AL is a white aluminum oxide obtained from the fusion of calcined alumina in electric arc furnaces. It is recommended for refractory applications where purity, chemical stability and high refractoriness are characteristics to be considered.

ALOCAL

ALOCAL is a brown fused aluminum oxide obtained from the fusion of high quality bauxites in electric arc furnaces. It is heat treated in a rotary kiln at high temperatures and magnetic treated. These procedures guarantee low iron content. ALOCAL is recommended for refractory applications.

ALOTAB

ALOTAB is a brown fused aluminum oxide obtained from the fusion of high purity bauxites in electric arc furnaces. Due to its high content of Al2O3 and low iron content ALOTAB is recommended for refractory applications.

ALP is a off white fused aluminum oxide obtained from the fusion of calcined alumina and small quantities of chromium oxide in electric arc furnaces. It is recommended for refractory applications where chemical stability and high refractoriness need to be considered.

AR

AR is a brown fused aluminum oxide obtained from the fusion of high purity bauxites in electric arc furnaces. It presents an excellent cost/benefit ratio, being recommended for refractory applications in which iron content is not an issue. AR splits bigger than 2mm are not recommend for molded refractories used at temperatures higher than 1,300 ºC.
